Aristotle CEO, Marla Johnson Norris co-founded Aristotle in 1995. Under Marla's leadership as CEO, Aristotle has grown into a thriving nationally recognized Internet and interactive agency garnering international media attention for innovation and excellence and national "Best of Industry" awards for many of its clients. Today Marla works diligently to keep on top of important trends for Aristotle clients, designs strategic marketing plans and conducts research on behalf of many of them.
A nationally recognized expert and speaker on Internet and integrated marketing, Marla has been a frequent keynote speaker on marketing trends and seminar leader for hands-on marketing tips and tricks. Marla speaks to industry groups nationwide covering several areas of her expertise including successful and accountable online marketing, strategic branding and design, research methodology and reporting, tracking and, email marketing, destination marketing, social networking trends, and integrated PR and advertising.
Marla graduated summa cum laude from the University of Memphis with a BA and three majors: International Relations with a focus on economic development; Urban Studies; and Political Science. She later received a Masters in Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and was certified to teach high school social science courses. Marla's educational background reflects her true dedication to improving lives, communities and the world. Her love of communications, creativity and marketing also took root in college as she worked at the PBS affiliate in Memphis where she learned most aspects of video production, both technical and creative.
Marla is actively involved in several organizations in Arkansas that promote education, economic development, creativity and the well-being of its citizens. To acknowledge her contributions to the community she was honored with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock President's Award in 2003 and the University of Memphis Distinguished Alumnae Award in 2005.
